Stitches by Moonlight is a small independent business run by Christan A. Blatchford in South Carolina, United States. We design and sell crochet patterns as digital downloads.

What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the business.
Your name and email address, if you give them to us through a form on this site.
Your email address and purchase details, if you buy a pattern. Purchases are processed by Payhip, not by us.
Basic information about how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors are located.
We do not collect or store your payment card details at any point. Payment information goes directly to our checkout provider and is never visible to us.
How we use it
To deliver the pattern you bought and to send your receipt.
To send the free pattern you requested, if you asked for one.
To send occasional emails about new patterns and posts, if you signed up for them.
To answer you when you get in touch.
To understand which pages people find useful, so we can write more of what helps.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else handles your information
Running a small business means using a few outside services. Each has its own privacy policy, and each only receives what it needs to do its job.
Squarespace hosts this website and stores form submissions.
Payhip processes purchases and delivers pattern files.
Gmail sends our emails and stores our subscriber list.
Google Analytics tells us how the site is used, in aggregate.
Cookies
This site uses cookies, which are small files stored by your browser. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Emails
If you sign up for emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any message we send. We will stop immediately. We also send transactional emails, such as a receipt or a download link, which are part of a purchase rather than marketing.
Children
Our patterns are written for adults. This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, please email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Submit a request via the website Contact Form or email StitchesbyMoonlight01@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some records of past purchases for accounting purposes.
